friendly welcome, clean, central to city but not far from airport. Gave us a big bottle of milk as four people were staying two nights.
was described as having a dvd player, Took some dvd's but it was Sky TV instead. Not a problem but wouldn't have taken the DVD's along had I known

We were put in a back room which was excellent no road noise.
The room was quite rundown, you could hear when other people were having a shower. The bench was too small therefore had toasters/kettles ontop of microwave.

Alice was friendly and helpful. Ample supplies in room which I find unusual e.g. not enought sugar etc for number of guests in rooms.
Would have like a morning paper, but probably could have ordered one if I had checked, so probably me, rather that the motel

Excellent price for a one night stay prior to flying home. Very friendly and helpful owner. Very clean and tasteful, just perfecr for self catering and a short walk to the city centre. Cannot fault this motel.

The staff is wonderful, comprehensive and always available. The unit was spacious and fully equipped. Good choice of restaurants nearby and 10 minutes walk to the busy downtown of Christchurch. Peaceful environment.

The staff were so friendly, loved it was self contained, close to the city centre (even though it has been destroyed by the earthquakes). We were snowed in and the staff helped shovel us out of the car park. Great for the four us of travelling

Rooms ok but in need of upgrading in near future. Seemed to be clean but carpets stained etc.
